World Cocktail Day 2022

World Cocktail Day is a worldwide celebration of cocktails; it marks the release date of the first definition of cocktails on May 13, 1806.

The New York tabloids The Balance and Columbian Repository define a cocktail as “a zesty drink composed of various spirits, sugar, water, and bitters.” It was written by editor Harry Croswell at the request of readers.

But this Friday might just be our happiest day to celebrate World Cocktail Day 2022.

Many of the UK’s 106,000 pubs, pubs and restaurants will be celebrating the holiday, while families across the country may dust off their cocktail shakers.

So why are cocktails called cocktails – how can you make your favorite cocktails at home?

How to make cocktails at home?

While cocktails at bars are often made with fancy shakers and techniques, making them at home requires nothing more than ice cubes, a spoon, several spirits and shakers, and some dramatic glasses to create A special evening atmosphere.

Keep your glasses cool with ice, then add the spirits and stir with a spoon.

Here’s what you need to do to make some of the UK’s most popular cocktails.
